Deleting your account in the app

1. 1Sign in to the RUA Global app, or to rua-global.com, with the account you want to close.
2. 2Open My Page and select Delete account.
3. 3Tick the confirmation box and enter your password.
4. 4Press Delete account. Your account is closed straight away and you are signed out.

If you cannot sign in

Email office.ruaglobal@gmail.com from the address registered to your account, with the subject Account deletion request and your company name in the body. We verify the request and complete it within 30 days.

Deleting only part of your data

You can also ask us to erase specific data while keeping your account open — for example your WhatsApp number, your business registration certificate, your saved vehicles, your recently viewed vehicles, or your restock alerts. Email office.ruaglobal@gmail.com listing the items you want removed. We complete these requests within 30 days.

3. 3List the items you want removed (see the list below). Your account stays open and usable.

We verify the request and erase the listed items within 30 days. Records tied to an order, payment or shipment cannot be erased on their own — see the retention period below.

What is deleted and what is kept

Deleted immediately

• · Sign-in access. The account is closed the moment the request is submitted and can never be used to sign in again.

Erased on request, within 30 days

• · Password and password reset tokens
• · Business registration certificate file
• · WhatsApp number
• · Saved vehicles, recently viewed vehicles and restock alerts
• · Inquiries that are not linked to an order

Kept for a limited period

• · Company name, contact name, email address and country
• · Order, payment and shipping records, and inquiries linked to an order

These are transaction records. Korean tax and trade law requires us to keep proof of each transaction, so they are retained for up to 5 years from your last transaction and then deleted. During that period they are accessible to our administrators only and are not used to provide any service to you.
